Productivity Tools

Quick note: The best time for creating your schedule and reminders for your deadlines is before or during syllabus week! You (most of the time) won't ever have to be afraid of missing an assignment during the semester.

Your phone's Notes app can be used for more than just a makeshift grocery list. The app has features that can help you create to-do lists, and reminders, store your passwords or simply write down ideas that come up on the go.

Plus, it's free and pre-installed on every smartphone.

My favorite app for to-do lists is Todoist. It's free, beginner-friendly and comes with a dark mode. It offers labels and filters, and a due-date calendar. Todoist has a super detailed categorizing system that can help you get a better grasp on what you have to do, especially during the more hectic weeks.

GSheets

Google Calendar is a staple for every productivity system. Aside from the built-in default and holiday calendars, you can create and modify your own calendars for your many tasks and make a schedule that is not only satisfying to your eyes but also to your overworked neuro system.

Also, it automatically adds appointments and travel arrangements from your email. 10/10 would recommend.

Google Sheets is an online spreadsheet that can assist you with schedules, to-dos, and is highly efficient for tracking your progress or managing your budgets.

Google offers a free user manual online that can make Google Sheets less intimidating for beginners. As with other apps, familiarize yourself with its features and a whole new world will appear in front of your eyes.
